If you get using the Camera again, would you take a shot of the intake's. I can imagine what Bunger was describing about the intake runner's, but you have the head and a picture would help a bunch. Thanks, Gary

Thanks for the picture's, that answers a lot of my question's. On looking at this, it look's to me like if your going to use the 8 valve head, your intake manifold is different in both size and bolt configuration. If I've followed this, correctly, your DPFI to MPFI change included an intake for the 16 valve head. It look's to me like you might have an alignment/disconinuity in your intake, if you try to put the 8 valve head on your car. Doe's my question make any sense?

Actually, one of the big things going for the 8 valve head is that I ended up using the 8 valve intake manifold on my car, so right no a have a big discontinuity that will be fixed with the new head.

Indeed, I think it shall work out quite well. Timing belt and water pump will also be done with the swap, so hopefully everything works out. I'm about to call around for some valve spring compressors so I can pick some up tonight.

Well, the valve spring compressors are in stock, thanks to the guy who told me last night they didn't have anything like that.
