You didn't make any comments about your new tranny, , I'm so sad.
Anyway, in reference to that, and in light of the fact that I now know how super cool the cx/vx flywheel is (3 pounds lighter than usual), we should prolly have a chat about flywheel weights in your car, if you're down for it.

I thought it was your tranny. Now that I know it is mine, I will say that it looks very nice.
My clutch and flywheel are just fine. What benefot would there be from a lighter flywheel?

The same that comes from lighter wheels. Especially at idle, because that's a lot of the load at idle, damn 18 pound thing.

My engine is never at idle. It is either under load or it is off.

Thanks for the offer, but you can use it to further your weight reduction.
When we meet up this summer let's take Rex for a drive to show you it's true potential. 500 lbs difference and the low end torque peak of the B8 will crush the Del Sol.

This is all going down at the same time. I'm going to shoot for two saturdays from last if my boss will let me use the shop, if not I'll prolly do it around then but I need to find some stuff to make it easier on me. I'm assembling everything in the garage/driveway and then sticking the whole big chunk in at once.
