I'm trying, but you see. In the getting on a year I've been poking around for engines like that I've only found the one local and it just happened to be free. Trust me, I've been looking diligently for months, cuz I was hoping to get you one as well.

i guess youve never done a longblock swap or a head swap. the head swap will be easier. many it would be nice to not have to jack the car up or get underneath it.
i would rather swap out the whole motor and tranny, but thats just because ive done that before. anyway getting the block on the tranny is annoying. just a headswap would work fine, unless he comes across the mighty z1. for bens purposes, i think he would be best off with just a b8 head, he would never use the vtec in the z1

Even though I would never use the vtec in the z1, it still gets much better FE than the b8,

Well, problem solved, mehbe...
Details:
I think the valves in dan's b7 are the same as in my b8, so I'll just go to dan's house at night and steal a valve, and then my head will be perfect!
But honestly, someone is giving me a free b7 head so I'll just swap the exhaust valve over!

While you are stealing my valve, please bring the CX tranny and slap it in while you are at it. I will just remove the other exhaust valve and the rocker arms and disconnect the injector and I will have the three cyl that I have always wanted. Win - win if I have to say myself.

Well, the engine balance will be a little odd, mehbe if you remove the piston as well, anyway, that still sucks, but my shift linkage pin is only half in, I'm not strong enough! My arm is killing me...
However, it shifts SO much better now, but it needs to be in all the way.

It's still up on blocks, I'm not going to drive it without it in all the way.
I'm just waiting for my dad to bring a minisledge for me.

I might be able to get another cx head/im, anyone want it, they'd have to pay shipping?
Also, anyone want any parts off this d15b7 head I'm taking apart? Might as well not let it go to waste...
