New list:
(Wire) VSS
(Wire) Cluster plugs (In progress, there are some odd things like seatbelt light always on, prolly miswired, had terrible pinouts, so I think I just got good ones for the crx, so yeah. I got stuff from work for the cluster plugs, with the super expensive software for that kinda thing. Some weird stuff like I killed the gas gauge, which was working, but that could be anything, and the temp gauge works but only when I'm in reverse, so I think I need to fix my reverse switch because I dunno what the heck would cause that since there's nothing electrical on my shifter any more.)

(Buy) Rear mount, tranny portion
(Buy) Misc. shift linkage bolts
(Buy) New shift linkage pin, from Honda
(Do) Figure out what to do with the transmission cooler stuff
(Wire) Reverse lights
So, I've eliminated 2.5 things,
EDIT: had to split up post cuz something hates me.

VSS and cluster wired, woot woot. so now the cluster is complete working but for the screwy temp gauge, which i think is something else.
i still need a rear mount, to do the reverse wiring, to get the linkage pin, la la la.
today i'm going to cover the whole in the body from the old shifter and take pictures like woah.
that's it that i can think of, tons of rain, heat, and i'm tired!

Yes, and set your fuel parameter to 13515 and your distance parameter to 2482. This will start the calibration process. Use the milepost method or google earth to calibrate the distance. Take the google earth distance and divide by the distance displayed and then multiply by your current distance parameter to get your new distance parameter. Do again to verify.
At your next fill, convert gallons to liters. Then divide liters displayed on the MID by the actual liters used. Then multiply by the current fuel parameter to get your new fuel parameter. Do again to verify. Now you will be calibrated.
Your new MID chip will go out on Monday. Got the one you sent me and it works great. The instanteous bug is fixed! Woot!
Matt, you can get one now.

This MID confuses the devil out of me, I suck with things, la la la. I'm not going to worry about it now though, mehbe i'll change the fuel parameter before I head to school today so I can check some stuff out.

I would be happy to explain if you tell me what exactly you are confused about.

Haha, I just need to print out that pdf with the instructions and play with it until I know it by heart, I think.
