Haha, If someone paid me 80 bucks to install a set of axles I would have to talk them down, it's only about and hour job,

Congratulations on the purchase - it's a great vehicle. I have and continue to enjoy mine.

One of my axles has lasted 289k miles. The other one went at about 200k. As SVOboy stated - it's extremely easy to do the replacement. If you do end up doing it, make sure you get axle seals (that go into the transaxle) from Honda. You don't want the hassle of trying to get the correct ones from any other source - trust me on that one.

My wife paid $100 something for one side at Pepboys. Bring SVOBoy along and he'll do it for you :P

I was thinking about your CV's. If they only rattle when you turn corner's, they would probably be fine, to get you back home. If they are rattling, at other times, I would do Pep Boy's, or take SVOboy along in your tool box.

It's amazing to me that I had never noticed a VX before. But yesterday I had one buzz by on the highway. It was also red but had no rust. There is also a red HB in my work parking lot but there is no designation on the back. Steel wheels means not a VX prolly.

All mods now have been removed from the Del Sol. Lots of interest generated from Autotrader.com

Haha, still prolly not. Have to wait for my mother to forget about the "be right home" and then not showing up until 4am night,

Anyway, good job with the car, it's peachy, innit.
