The thread should of been named KDA. He's the only one you got to worry about.

Wow. Nice!

Careful with the jokes though, or you'll start a stampede to the PCV aisle for latest fuel-saving magic bullet.

The joke is on you. Have you seen my latest garage addition?

I'm not going to be the top 10 in any time soon but I hope to be in the top 20 in a couple of months.

I think you perhaps miss the point of that comment. "The joke is on you" is intended to be used when you have been insulted in jest, but indeed have the upper hand. You were neither insulted, nor do you have the upper hand. Either way, get through a tank and let us know how the civic works out. I'm assuming it's a dx/lx?

yes. It's a DX. I don't like weight.
It's going to be low. I suck at driving clutch. Hopefully it's 30+mpg.

You'll learn, took me a while and I'm still not always smooth with it.

For not liking weight the thing sure is carrying a hefty 400 pound spare tire!

maybe 40lbs, but 400lbs is an exaggeration.
There is still so much stuff I have to do before I can even focus on fuel economy. I have to learn to drive it right, fix some clutch components, replace tires, and then focus on fuel economy.

Well, the things almost 2400 pounds, which is where that number came from. Which "clutch components" need fixing?

Sounds strange that the clutch master and slave cylinders would be going bad on a 99. Maybe they need to be bled?
