Prius redesign pictures

This is a spyshot of the 2009 Prius. I'm sure it's just a CG model right now, but I like the looks of it.

Notice how HUGE that the wheels are now ?

What is your opinion on the styling ?

Here is some Photoshoppery that I did on the current Prius.
After all these years, I still haven't warmed up to the looks of the current car.
In my little opinion, the car is WAY to tall.
( Why ??? )
You could wear a ten gallon hat in the car and not hit the roof !
This adds a lot to the frontal area of the car too.
Seen from the rear 3/4 view, the car seems almost tipsy - tall and narrow.

I added a second body line which would not only have added more of a dynamic look to the car, but also would have stiffened the body ( making it safer in a crash )
I did some stuff with the taillights and the rear spoiler too, giving the car a more sporty look.
And the car is lowered about two inches as well.

All cars seem to look better lowered in my opinion.

Hope I didn't insult any Prius owners here. Let me know what you think !

kinda looks a lil bit Celica lil bit Sienna ...omg its Donnie and Marie !

They can keep their big wheels - unless they're narrow I feel its a waste on a FE focused vehicle . The cabin looks smaller inside , especially in the back .
Yes Clench ...they've been eatin the doughnuts again !

Nlam , I like *your* 'chop better

To keep up with the expanding waistlines.

I just don't understand why so many cars are getting taller instead of wider. ( Since a lot more people these days are getting more wide than tall. )

( Perhaps it's the SUV folks that still want to ride up high that are causing this trend. )

Taller vs wider is for the elusion of lots more room ...it is a waistline thing , No doubt .

I think it's nice except it needs smaller, less rapper-mobile like wheels, rear wheelskirts, a shorter wheelbase and a smaller height. A wipers fairing may be nice as well, so they aren't exposed when off... Less frontal area and weight might be able to bring it up to insight-like mileage, so a more rounded front may be in order, and a slight boat-tail may help even more. It's supposed to be a radically different vehicle than anything else on the market, and should be more effecient, not following the trends to look like a rapper-mobile. It might actually be worth the extra dough over say, a Yaris (which is almost as effecient as the Prius when you take it all into consideration) If they put more thought into it...
