It doesn't matter what you drive -- an impact is an impact. It could be a Semi vs. another Semi and you'd have catastrophe.

There was an SUV vs SUV head-on at the same location as the picture above, a Suburbam and an Explorer. I can't find the pictures anymore, needless to say the Suburban lost a passenger. Further proof of "an impact is an impact". Plus most of the SUV's out there where never designed for impact/roll protection, that was designed and/or legislated only in the latest generation.
