Personal Best! 65.6 MPG! 95 vx

Hit my personal best today at 538 miles, 8.2 Gallons, I don't think I ever got more then 1/4 throttle for the entire tank. It helps that I drive 55 mph on county roads. This was the first tank that I tried pulse and glide the whole time, completely shutting the motor off every chance I got. Only mods so far are k&n filter and passenger mirror delete. I'm going to look into a belly pan soon.

I'm very curious how P&G + 55pmh + 1/4 throttle works in a VX. What kind of RPMs are you pulsing at?

Car mods are overrated. Just gotta adjust that nut behind the wheel for best mpg.

I pulse up to about 2200 RPM, or around there, it's usually not over 62 mph or so, then completely shut off the motor, I don't do it all the time, my drive to work is 20 miles, I live in wisconsin so there is a lot of hills, I have the routine down so I can coast at the most optimal points, I generally coast for over 3 miles of the 20 mile ride. I also leave around 5 am in the morning so there's not too many other people on the road, I'll generally coast till about 50 mph, I started doing this about 3 weeks ago, I'm getting better at it.

Do you know how much MPG you got out of the pas mirror delete. I'm thinking of doing it to my CRX.
