ON?FL -- Wanna guess my mileage?

Saturday, this "suv commutin' tard" and family are heading to Northern Florida from the Toronto area. Left to my own devices I tend to go 50 - 55 MPH on long trips but I may be tempted to bump it up a notch (maybe 60 to 65 in SC and GA when it gets flat) to keep this straight through drive under 24 hours. I'll be filling up here and then switching the ScanGauge over to good old miles and gallons.

There'll be a bike or two on the back so the aero won't be the best. The middle of the trip goes through the ups and downs of West Virginia where the mileage should be the worst although the speed there will be lowest especially near the ends of climbs. It's a 3.3L Santa Fe with AWD.

1144 miles

$10 via pay-pal to the first poster with a ? MPG of the actual.

I may not be able to post results until a day or two after xmas...

Minger was that a dyslexic 27.5?

Otherwise are you going 25½ or do you want 26?

if you can stick at 55-60mph, have a full vehicle with bikes on the back, I think you should be able to get 15% over EPA highway if it was ideal, so I'm going to aim low and guess 27mpg
