Folks IMO need to post video if possible of driving tatics. Of course it can start a debate of saftey and other stuff. But the fact remains. If you where never taught FE driving moves,, then the chances to see them are very limited.

I was lucky to have a father like mine. He taught me what seems by many to be extreme driving skills. Included in this skill set were the basic hypermiling tools. Heel and toe, car setup, slides,,, all sorts of stuff. Driving is a passion in my family. And to do things with cars that others ,, truthfully cant even dream about.

People can see pics of areo mods and model that in there minds eye and make that work. But its hard to get people to understand P & G if they dont understand the basics of throttle control muchless load driving up a hill, to fas down the backside.

Theres alot more I would like to do. I would like to video emergancy stops and such in a fas and show car control in say our 05 Accord. Its very well manored. Baisc stop light and sign glides. Good examples of load driving. P & G and something I use alot,, what I call load and bleed.

I think theres still yet more mpg to get out of my Civic. But remember I can heel and toe also. So some times Im making up for other skill sets.

I have a drive home set of vids I will get up soon. One has a section in it that I call fun fas. It has a few good downhills and some cornering action. The day I did them I had 20 to 30 mph head winds so there not to exciting. This section of road under power is way fun.

Anyway,,, enjoy
