Was cold this evening ~50ish F and I was too tired to do any FE minded driving so I set cruise and let it do its thing. Watching the IAT value was interesting. In the morning at cruise my IAT reads around 98F, with instant MPG bouncing from 21-25, but in the evening it dropped to 89F, MPG would range from 19-22. About 10 measly degrees between 2-3 MPG gain. And there is next to no difference in drivability either.
I'm figuring about 100-110 or so would be its sweet spot since last summer I was able to get 22 MPG tanks driving with no regard to FE.
I need to go junk yard hunting for an intake off a carb'ed 4.2 from a YJ or something.
