Unfortunately, I'm already staying on rural county roads at least 90% of the time. I just got back from a practice run that was about 5.3 miles long and pulled off a 64.8 mpg with the new car. This was the first run with the EFIE hooked up. The EFIE is currently set at about .325 volts. If I go any higher the idle starts to get a bit rough. For my pulse and glide(engine off on the glide portion) I stayed in 5th and went between 25 and 35. The gearing is so low that I can cruise in 5th at 20 mph when the road is level and can even accelerate lightly. Even though the head was milled .050", with the grooves and Power Lynz in the intake ports, I have absolutely no pinging on 87 octane gas when accelerating under heavy loads.

Got to do a little more driving today. 62.5 miles with a 67.71 average. Best segment was 82.3 MPG for 18.6 miles. I don't know how these guy are turning over 100 MPG segments . I know it can be done so it gives me something to work for
