Posted a few tanks in the gaslog. I have driven 1900 miles in the past 6 days. Not much time for GS or anything else. Still don't have much access to the internet yet. Hopefully by the end of the month.

my last tank is really ****ty. I can't get off the pedal. I'll have to get a SG2 to keep me in check.

I have some numbers from my new ride. It is a '99 Saturn SL2 DOHC 1.9L with a 5-speed manual. I always new that the DOHC Saturns always got lower FE but never knew exactly why; now I know. The DOHC cars have lower gearing in the transmission. My temporary ride(SOHC) would run ~2500 rpm's at 70mph and the new car runs at ~3000 rpms. So it looks like highway speeds are definately going to be a killer. It also means that I will have to work much harder to get good FE numbers at the slower speeds around home. Now for the numbers. This morning's trip to take the wife to work started out at 42 degrees and I never did any FAS so I could let the engine warm up for my trip to work and I ended up with 36.8 to the wife's shop. From there to my shop was 58.1. In the afternoon I got 64.6 going back to pick up my wife and, from there to home, I got 52.3.

Intresting. What's your average speed now?
