After yesterday's disapointing results, today was a bit better. Last night I decided to check a few things and found that my IAT sensor mod was not functioning right. I have replaced the sensor with 2- 220 ohm resistors in parallel so that the ECU "sees" a temp of 247F. When I checked last night with the SG, it was fluctuating between 200 and 236F. I re-twisted the resistors together to get it back to 247. The trip home from the station was 70.6 MPG . Yet another good reason for having a Scanguage. This happened near the middle of a tank but it could have happened at the beginning I wouldn't have known until the end of the tank. The tank came in at 52.358 This is >2.2 above my previous best. Thank you SG and Wayne Gerdes.
