Now that is an interesting question.
One very noticeable difference between the VX and Del Sol is the time they took to come up to operating temp. Using the same route and with the same ambient temps, the VX warms up in much less time. Typically, in the morning, I can be at temp and in lean burn in 1/2 the time compared to the Del Sol. I'm not sure how the Z1 does it but I am not complaining. I guess I would need to wait until the weather gets colder to see the effect before answering your question.
