Yes, that is also my understanding. Just got the valve this morning. They gave me the non-gold plated one so it was only $14. The first thing I noticed is while the old and new valve were identical on the outside, the new one had a blue plastic piece inside looking through the grommet end the old one had nothing. The new one had resistance blowing thru one end while the old one does not. After installation, my engine idles at 600 instead of 750 so I guess I fixed a vacuum leak with the new PCV. Took it to PROcare for an inspection but they are full up on inspections today. Maybe another time. Back to the gas filler tube issue now.....
