My trip to work was a very
My trip to work was a very good one today. The first leg, taking my wife to work, was 59.1 mpg for the 5.83 mile trip. Of that 5.83 miles, 2.8 miles was with the engine off. The next leg to my work was 9.14 miles. Because of the route and the traffic, I only had about .7 miles with the engine off. I hit 52.1 mpg for an average of 54.8 mpg this morning. My average for the day is registering 52.9 at just over 47 miles according to the Scanguage.

I had another good morning.
I had another good morning. For one, I have the day off for Good Friday.:-) The trip to take the wife to work showed 59.1 according to the Scanguage. I took a different route that allowed for slower speeds and a bit more coasting with the engine off. Since I didn't go on to work I got to retrace the route back home and the mileage was even better; 61.0. I'm showing an average of 59.3 for the day so far. The temps are supposed to get into the 80's today so I hope I don't need to use A/C, it's a huge FE killer.

I wish I didn't live in the city. I would be in the 40's now.

I managed to get 35.66 mpg
I managed to get 35.66 mpg on my last tank. It was 50/50 highway-city (which is more city then normal for me). This is the first tank where i killed the engine and coasted several times. I also put in around 3oz of aceotone in this tank. The spring warmth helped me.

35.5 last tank. Temps in the
35.5 MPG last tank . Temps in the high 80's and low 90's has really been helping. Also had a 120 mile highway trip on this tank at 40.4 MPG.

Last three tanks were
Last three tanks were something like:
44mpg, no front bumper, still had snow tires, pooring rain/slow drive 4 hours home.
40mpg few long trips, but alot of stuff around town, some with new bumper, some without.
48mpg was all highway, 3 differnt drivers, strong side wind, 3 people in the car, 100lbs of stuff, Snow tires off, summer tires on, 44psi in front, 40psi in rear, going to bump up the rear psi tomarow, new suspention bushings showing up mid week along with OEM grill block, and new thermostat, should I install it all in one shot, or one item per week to see how it changes? I think I'll do it in one shot, if I have the time to rip my front end appart.

mileage is up!
So the past couple tanks of mine have been around 31mpg or so. I blame this mostly on horrible DC traffic around 5:30-6pm. This most recent tank my fuel economy went up to around 34mpg primrily due to less traffic. I think everyone had off from work for spring break and easter/passover. Odometer reads 4800 miles so far. I'm going to make the switch to synthetic at 5k miles. Hopefully that'll give me a little bit of a boost.
Mods(if you can call them that):
38psi front/35psi rear (will probably increase)
not stomping on the gas (or at least not as much)
3oz/10gal lucas fuel treatment (cause I've been getting the "el cheapo" gas from Xtramart)
Gas prices: $2.95 avg. in suburban DC

Just got back from the
Just got back from the Myrtle Beach. 1400+ miles in the Prius with a family of four and a dog and all of our gear. Ave speed 72ish. For the whole 1400+ miles, about 51 MPG. Prices ranged from 2.699 to 2.799/gal. Current price in town is 2.859, about what it was just after Katrina.
Looking forward to hypermiling again in the Del Sol.
