Just filled up yesterday, and got the best tank ever. 48.6 MPG, couldnt believe it. I think the Halos are working...though the weather was hot, and the roads were drier. I have been doing more of the EOC, found this killer stretch on a dirt road for several miles. I have been keeping the speed below 55 and trying to cruise around 48-53 on 50MPH speed limit roads. These roads have a lot more stops than the interstate though, but I think the MPG improvement is worth it if you have the patience. It really is all about figuring out your route for maximum EOC.

Heck I would like a HCHII with a 5MT, rear disc brakes, sunroof and no automatic climate control. A EX with IMA...
Maybe in 07

I just got 31.4mpg 50/50 mixed driving thanks to my 55psi tires and version 2 undertrays.
Now all I need is a engine block heater and taller LRR tires and my goal of 35mpg will be realized.

Well there you go, my testing results on lower than average FE from all the turning around and stopping to record crap and trying things you know aren't going to get too good of mileage.

I don't do that on my car. I just install aero mods, pump up my tires and accelarate slower and drive the speed limit.
That's my strategy. Since I can't affect my street mpg I just do everything to improve my freeway mpg so it would offset the street mpg.
