Hmm, some of my posts must not be showing up in my post total. I only see 633. Way to go Metro MPG! Nice tank!

Thanks.

I just meant you were the 1000th post within this daily FE thread. Not your personal total. Guess I should have called it a thread milestone, rather than yours.

Gotcha. Must be more of those gas fumes. Actually, I did have a gas-can tip over in my car last night as I was pushing for that 650+ mark.

Lately, I've been unable to maintain that mileage and yesterday I got only ~27 driving home. This morning I could barely get ~28.5.

It was raining both times (though that usually doesn't make that big of a diff.) Tire pressures are up there. The engine seems to be running smoothly and up to proper temperature. Possibilities may be the gas, or the coil pack (a chronic arcing problem with the VR6 engine). It has new ignition wires. I'll have to 'mist' it while it's running.
When does the winter blend hit up there? Maybe that its.

Great tank Metro!

The scenery looks great in Basjoos country. Too bad I'm just visiting, and not moving in.
Congrats Metro and Larry! As it so happens, I AM MOVING in to Basjoos country. I look forward to reaping the benefits. I will be posting a 73ish MPG tank when I fill this evening. The it will be off to Basjoos country! I will be racking up the miles now.
