Well, the price per barrel of oil is in the mid-$80s today. Gasoline currently is about $3.40 per gallon in the US, and I saw today some place in California was selling it at Euroesque $7 per gallon for some California reason or other.
It will be interesting to see how the Green New Deal policies being implemented in the US will play out on the price of energy and, by extension, gasoline at the pump that we pay in the future. Even Green-leader Europa is considering restarting some coal-fired generating stations they haven't yet dismantled and praying for a warm winter and Russian gas from their brand-new pipeline just approved by the US.
