MPG Caps

Does anyone know anything about the MPG Caps you add to your tank? Do they really work? Do they cause any damage?

I wonder if they've got past claiming "infinite surface area" on the coating they claim to put on the heads yet.

I remember The RoadWarrior..To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time..the world was powered by the black fuel & the desert sprouted great cities..Gone now, swept away..two mighty warrior tribes went to war & touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing..thundering machines sputtered & stopped..Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice

Consumer Reports has done many tests on a plethora of mechanical and chemical devices that will supposedly increase your gas mileage. They have found all the devices to be merely smoke and mirrors, no observable increase in gas mileage was measured for any of their tests. I doubt that this device would fair much better. Their conclusion on the best way to increase MPGs? Change the way you drive.
