I've been hovering around 62-64mph for a while now. The other day I made a 42 mile trip to nearby town that I go to 1-2x week for business. I was passed once. That's got to be some kind of record.

We have dropped our speed back to 55mph and it has help improve out gas mileage somewhat. Most people are still driving 80 or better.

I was just listening to a report on NPR yesterday. It was about law enforcement officers interdicting drug money...they were featuring a person who was very successful. For the complete transcript click here:http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...oryId=91582619

One paragraph stood out to me, however...especially since I have been driving a bit slower than I used to...

Without giving away his secrets, here's one thing Ingram looks for: If the speed limit is 65 mph, most people will drive 75 mph. But someone wanted by the law will go 65 or less, and avoid eye contact with a cop who pulls up alongside. Ingram calls them "stress-induced indicators."

Be aware...

LOL, I fit that part of the profile...I pull that nervous straight-ahead tunnel vision look when a cop is next to me.
