making a video

I think I am going to make a video of some of my coasting(FAS). I just checked to see how I would put a camera in my car. It seems that if a put a tripod infront of the passanger seat it is pretty secure. The video would be around 5 min. I will put it on youtube or something.

That would be awesome. Are you going to narrate it at all? Care to add a GasSavers.org logo on the bottom corner?

This is a great idea. I'd love to see a 2-camera approach: one out the window, one on a MID or SG, with that info sync'd on the bottom of the screen.

I'm actually planning on a similar video soon. All I need is a camera and my Honda Fit.

Yesterday, I timed how much of my drive returning from work was coasting, and I found that it was 13 minutes out of a 33 minute commute. In the past I had checked the odometer and found that 6.5 miles of my 18.5 mile commute was coasting.
I need to get a scangauge soon for my Yaris 5 speed hatchback. I am sure I can average over 40 mpg. with using it.
