Last three months of Fuel Use

May $639.13 / 151.14 gallons / 3049.32 miles / 21 cents per mile

June $491.07 / 106.984 gallons / 2955.05 miles / 17 cents per mile

July $449.66 / 97.291 / 2607.78 / 17 cents per mile (with the 100 noted below)

Saving money even tho prices have been rising. Gallons used have dropped ~35% since May (but I didn't have my scooter most of that month). Even a 9% drop from June to July.

July is missing the rest of todays and tomorrows miles...probably 100.

Darby Great to see those stats. $600.00 is like a mortgage or rent for some people. How often do you fill up once a week? --Josh

For what it is worth....
I thought I would run the same with my numbers...

APRIL: $79.71 / 23.504 gal / 914.5 miles = 0.087 per mile
MAY: $129.22 / 34.549 gal / 1319.7 miles = 0.098 per mile
JUNE: $88.85 / 22.991 gal / 943.5 miles = 0.094 per mile
JULY: $141.98 / 36.326 gal / 1432.1 miles = 0.099 per mile

My cost per mile is trending up, as yours was definately coming down...
need to be more consistent with my hypermiling habits, as they have fallen off slightly on my last tank of gas. (as can be seen in my garage..)
Either way... it is just another set of numbers for everyone to see with a different vehicle that has not been mod'd at all, just the guy in the drivers seat.

Yeah, I own a Statewide Moving Company and have to do a bit of driving...but i am using my scooter as much as possible. If I can save $190.00+ a month even with rising fuel prices...the scooter was worth every penny.

With the Scooter: $449.66 97.291 gallons
If no Scooter : $576.60 124.1 gallons

*traveling the same 2607.78 miles for July...saved $126.84 and 26.809 gallons of fuel

Looks like you might be an Auto-Xer with your Vette?

Up until recently when I started driving the Buick more I was driving on a 16 month old tank of gas before I filled it up again.
