kuhmo k22

Just got a set for my 93 VX with a 100,000 mile warranty. Yes, 100,000 miles! Is it my imagination or is my MPG slipping. I got an all time low on my hwy drive to cali. 33 mpg, however , i averaged 90 miles per hour.Has anyone else had any experience with these tires?
thanks
C P

How was your MPG on that same trip other times you went 90mph?

Is the pressure in the tires the same as before?

Worn tires have significantly less rolling resistance than new tires, and then of course there's no telling how one brand/model of tire compares to another.

I'd say it's very likely the 90mph that gave you the bad MPG.

Yeah, pretty sure the VX isn't holding lean burn at 90. In "normal" mode, FE really isn't all that great.
