I'm still willing to give it a shot. I can always Ebay it for most of what I paid. The seller got right back to me and is paying for it to be shipped back. The first batch was apparently hand assembled and they've had a few other problems with some of them. They actually have a new shipment arriving tomorrow so there shouldn't be any delay getting me a new one. Offered me a refund if I preferred as well.
So far, not grooving on PLX, but the reseller has been doing pretty well with a difficult situation.
