Well, I had to go to Houston and back today from San Antonio (430 round trip)...so I am out! Found out I have a 19.5 gallon tank (not 20.5) but I could squeeze in 20.9. Went 550 miles for a 26.32mpg. Only 5 days but the mpg was great...I actually pulled off 30mpg highway driving at 64mph...

I didn't last as long because of the unexpected trip, but my mileage is great for my 4300# 4WD SUV...;-)

Not a good baseline because of the extra driving you had to do but that works out to $12.50/day at $3.00 a gallon or .52/hour. .

I've gone about 160 miles and the gauge is reading about 2/5 down from "full".
This is all local stuff, not the long commute I was doing before. If I don't have to go anywhere far I might do OK. With the FE I'm getting locally I can probably get about 230-260 mi. before Sven gets very thirsty.

Ok, I filled up on Sunday. I will see how long it lasts. I doubt I will be able to go much longer then 10 days with my current driving situation.

My personal record is over 40 days.

Well I guess I lose, I just squeezed a kewl 20 gallons into my d-2500, thou I did get 225 miles for that, 11.2 mpg which is also October's econ.

There is hope yet, that's better than what I've seen most of the year (10-11), I suspect I'm getting used to the 400hp and that helps considerably. I've started using non-hybrid D-Fas despite a certain electrical problem, it does appear this is what gains the most benefit, I do hope to get at least 12 out of it.

The 325 hasn't had any fuel added, thou it's just below 1/4 so I suspect by next Monday it will need a $20, the gauge is indicating 9.4L / 100klm which isn't so hot, but this is yet another vehicle that gets its best fuel consumption sitting in the driveway

I was actually going to fill up on saturday, but I have yet to drive anywhere.

Ok, that's not entirely true. We took a family trip to the coast in the 5, but my Tercel has remained parked since thursday.

I've burned 6.3 gallons since filling Wed. 310 miles. Just a little over the halfway point of 12 gallons usable.

I have 270+ miles on this tank and the gauge is still pegged above the 18 mark. (yes, it is graduated in gallons remaining rather than in fractions of a tank). Typically 300~350 miles pass before the needle begins to show downward motion. A guess is that about 6 gallons have been consumed.
