okay, i feel stupid, but i can't find any FAQ out there.

What would anybody here recommend then as far as "upgading" my wheels?
any 15x5.5 rims out there that are light?
would it be eventually worth it to get those miata wheels? even with the extra inch width?

Found out today that the 'shipping weight' on my factory steel wheel is only 13lbs! i'm not sure if i believe Toyota on this one, but the guy assured me that the shipping weight was 13.

If it's 13, just stick with that. The two rims I'd suggest are those 12 pound miata panasports and some 12 pound civic hx rims like dan has. I'll search the FAQ now.

Hmm, I got that info from tirerack. But your info is prolly more accurate. Since you have 15" rims, I have no ideas for you. If your steelies are 13# then stick with those.
