Re: Honda VX engine not performing, why???

The guy who sold me the engine said it was from Japan, and that the VTEC-E there is designated a D15B1, but who knows he could lying. I have been thinking about getting the original VX wheels, probably next year, I got the MR7's with tires for a really good price, and they look good! Any idea how much mpg difference wheels and tires can make?

Assuming that the engine is the same, I imagine you'll get most of the fuel economy with the O2 sensor, the ECU, and the transmission and the wheels/tires would only make a minor difference.

Thanks for that. Tomorrow I will see what ECU I have, I do have the P07 heads and D15B block but the wrong exhaust manifold and a 4 wire O2 sensor. I've done a lot of web research today, but I really appreciate all the help from you guys
