Nice! What techniques did you employ over the course of the tank?

Original amazingmazda electrical system burnt up. I kept parts of it before sending it to the junk yard. Took a while but Found an exact same 1995 Mazda Protégé 1.5L 5 speed in the same color.
Have to think of a name before entering the new to me Protégé with 179k. Paid 1600 dollars which 1100 of it was from junking 3 old cars I had sitting around, so it was 500 dollars. Some rusty parts but after new wires, plugs, cap, rotor, O ring, fuel filter, oil change, new filter, cleaning TB and MAS got 51.14 mpg, 156.5 miles on 3.06 gallons, all freeway with no hypermiling, no drafting, no gutting, no aero. Just used CC at 62mph, tires at 35 psi. I was getting 56 mpg with the Amazingmazda with seats delete, some aero, eoc, drafting, and hypermiling. It's been awhile since I posted.

That is very good.

I have a 2000 Mazda Protege 1.6L with manual transmission and the best I've recorded is 36 mpg. But I'm pretty sure this was at 70 mph avg.

Thumbs up 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid - 60.6 mpg.

Just had my best tank after 17,500 miles on a 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid. Weather warmed up nice and the numbers reflect it:

RANGE: 815.8 miles
GALLONS: 13.46 gal.
Actual MPG: 60.6 MPG
IMID: 63.5 mpg
@ half tank: 480.1 miles
Low fuel on @: 762.6 miles
o range @: 811.1 miles

Rural south Georgia level roads with light traffic, 50's in a.m.'s and high 70's during p.m.'s. 95% highway driving cruising @ 50-55 mph.
