Ha. That's within a % or two of mine. 2750 rpm at 60 mph.

I shift early and shift often.

On the highway, I pulse and glide.

(one time, my clutch booster failed, so I couldn't get it out of gear. I fought it into 3rd and drove all the way across town to the shop.)

I think it also depends on your driving style, if you're smooth with the gear changes and everything flows its all good, changing to low down on a Honda engine is fine, I know their high revving machines but they can do everything well.
