tuesday our gas went up 30-35 cents while I was at work to about $3.30 (because of the holiday that's a week away). I am at about 520 miles for this tank and will probably try to push it hoping they drop again .

Yep, SC has the darkest green, and the South is pretty green in general:
I've got several friends who wish gasoline would stay above $3/gal US. They claim that's where the alternative fuels become cost effective, and it would spur production and research.
