Gas Prices?

Anyone notice the price of gas starting to go back up in your area?

Around here in Upstate NY the price has just gone over $2.00 on an average in town here. Getty is $2.01 and Sunoco is $2.05 and Hess is $2.04 and No Name USA Gas is $2.01 and I have seen Mobil at $2.09 today........Here we go again I guess........

Yup, it's been slowly rising ever since it bottomed out...it never really stayed at one level for long. It got down to $1.55 and now it's around $2.

It is following the yearly cycle of going up for the next several months - it goes up even though crude is not moving. There sure was a steep drop last year though.

Last month when I noticed this I said, "Anything under $2/gal is fine by me!!" and now it's hitting that threshold
On the positive side maybe we'll start seeing a little more traffic here on GS.org

In the Greater Vancouver Area, the price for regular gas is on the way of slowly climbing back to near $1(Canadian) per liter. I worry that it may even shoot beyond that.
A slightly higher price may not be completely bad. Ever since the drop of the price, I seemed to have noticed that many people had become more aggressive in their driving style, again .

Good traffic and spam go hand-in-hand.

I'd rather have gas be cheap and this place be a ghost town.

I'd much rather had some snake oil gas saving scam spam than the crap we had on here the other day.

It was of an adult nature. thanks to those who removed it quickly.

As I understand it, gas prices will remain about what they are now unless there are changes to the general economy up or down.

The refinery bosses have cut production due to the economic downturn, and supplies have finally dropped enough for prices to stabilize. Good for them, bad for us (again).

It had gotten up to about $2 here but seem to have settled to around $1.90
