If that's the case why is diesel still almost $1/gal more than gasoline? You'd think the price would come down more. I can remember in the 80's diesel was cheaper than gasoline.

Yeah. I don't know. Maybe it's a regional thing as far as which refineries have extra but prices are more universal? I don't know, that's all I heard about it. I don't know a lot about diesel. But we have more gasoline than people think, too.

I filled up at $1.89 last week. The price in the last 6 weeks have dropped 12 cents, 33 cents, 28 cents, 31 cents, 10 cents, and 16 cents. I fill up once per week. I hope it has continued its drop by 10+ cents this week when I fill up after work today .

Filled up at $1.879 here in NE Ohio, heard on the radio after I was done that a station not too far away was at $1.75.

I can remember gas at that price in 1973 after the embargo. It was the only station that had any and they were gouging the crap out of customers, but some were buying.
