Fuel consumption at idle?
Queston for those with scan guages, how much fuel do you burn per hour at idle? I read that for the average 4 cylinder it was about .25 gal per hour.
In my VX, if I read the thread correctly, it messes with the lean burn when you shut the engine off, so I leave it running. I wonder what the consumption per hour, at idle, is in a VX?
One different technique I use in mine is to use the tranny to slow down because it kills all fuel delivery, as long as you keep the revs above 1000.
