Finally!

Well, I finally got the MS3 to crack the 29mpg barrier.
I know some of you will laugh but for a 250+ hp car I'm happy. I have to keep it under 65mph to do it and drive it like a baby but still no other techniques at this point. I'm not a big fan of P&G as people that can't maintain speed piss me off, although I try to when nobodys around me.
We will see if I can hit 30.

you can totally hit 30! with your car its just about keeping the revs under 2.25krpm while accelerating and the speed under 65.

your only problem is going to be that when you give it throttle in the right rpms the car will drink!

Try using cruise control more often. When you need to speed up just use the accelerator tab on the cc, then use resume to slow. Draft more and you should hit 32 with practice. Using the cc to accelerate will keep you from depressing the petal more than is needed. I use a moccasin type shoe with a five piece sole that lets me feel the petal with greater sensitivity. Even with this i use the cc for better FE.

Yes, I use the CC regularly, even in the city when possible.
The problem with this car is it's too dam fun mashing the loud pedal.

death eater makes much more sense now.

I seriously thought it was a harry potter reference.
