EOC/P+G wins NASCAR LifeLock 400

Running really low on fuel Dale Earnhardt Jr. used an EOC/P+G technique while under caution in an effort to conserve fuel for the final three non-caution laps of the LifeLock 400. Dale held the lead when the green flag was waved and maintained it till the final caution flag flew on the white flag lap. Under caution he took the checker flag, then promptly turned into the exit of pit row. His enthusiastic pit crew then pushed the non-running car into the victory circle.

The EOC/P&G got Dale Jr. in position to win. I did think the 4000rpm pulse was a bit much, but that's the nature of the car.
The wreck did save Dale Jr from running out of gas under green. Even then the car that saved enough gas for the end would have won. I was hoping for a Jeff Burton win; maybe next time.
