Re: Does your Spouse support your hypermiling?

Well I'm not married but my girlfriend is all about my fascination with fuel efficient cars. She went from a crappy 24 mpg Hyundai (2002 Elantra) to a Scion xB and 32 mpg to a brand new Honda CR-Z. She is getting about 41 or 42 mpg with it and loves it. It's a great looking car, sporty, fun to drive and very fuel efficient. The car turns heads, too, which she enjoys immensely.

I'm surprised the 2002 Elantra only got 24mpg.

Re: Does your Spouse support your hypermiling?

my EX-wife has never driven in a vehicle where she doesn't mash on pedals, hold her foot down until she is at the very minimum stopping distance where she quickly switches to the brakes, or leave it running for 10-15 minutes at a time when it is cold out, just so she doesn't have to scrape windshields.
