Well, it cured my nasty nasty misfire many years ago, but otherwise I wouldn't really bother with the cleaning unless you just feel like it.

I'm gonna bite and put some injector cleaners in the AMG. Went to the AMG forum and they recommended Seafoam fuel injector cleaners. It was $13 for 435mL; they say it's the most expensive but also the best (can't get Techron here where I live). The car has 100,000 miles and I put 50,000 miles on it myself; so I'm guessing the fuel injectors were never cleaned. I think it's a myth, but I also like to be proven wrong. Since the ECU tune and the long tube exhaust headers, the car has been running lean a couple of times, so maybe this will make the problem go away.
