oh, that was my fault in the end. I forgot to reset the trip after the 36 mile run. So it was 13.7 miles.

13.7 miles on .341 gallons of fuel.
which 40.17mpg. But that fill up is still too small to be accurate.

Let's just leave it that my car gets 31mpg on the freeway till I find a better flatter route.

mileage testing

You guys ever think of connecting up a separate gas tank or several 1 gallon tanks that have different additives mixed into it and then switch between tanks while driving to see how the MPG changes. Would require a connection to the intake of a fuel pump NOT inside the gas tank to do it of course. When I ran gas tests on my Rambler back in the 70's I had a 1 gallon glass jug on the front seat through the fire wall to the fuel pump and watched the gas go down on a test run then came back and measured the gas used with a measuring cup.

Ahhh the good old days when gas was $0.259 a gallon and I still couldn't afford it!

This is pretty easy to do,

This is pretty easy to do, the SVO people use two 3 way solenoids to set it up, flick of a switch.

I still can't figure out how

I still can't figure out how that thing is set up, do a full engine bay shot or something. Also, how is the tubo going to help anything if it's not hooked directly to the vacuum of the intake?
