Question d16y7 to a d16y5

hello everyone
i want to convert my dx to hx, what im thinking is just putting in the v-tec-e heads with the hx computer. how would i do this and what else do i need so the car runs smoothly? i would like to keep my engine and my tranny just to keep things simple. would this head swap save me gas and work?

i would also like to know what else does the hx have that the dx doesent.
i plan on getting hx rims but would vx rims be better?

things i did to the car recently are:
0-20 mobile 1 oil
50 psi tires
thanks guys

You need the whole head. Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, cat converter etc. (although the DX exhaust manifold will bolt up). Your DX doesn't have EGR but the Y5 does. You'll most likely need an HX specific O2 sensor. You'll need to run some wires to the ECU. If your DX came with 13 inch rims, you could use the VX rims, but I think the 14 inch HX rims would look much more natural with your chassis.

If my post seems indefinite that's only because I'm careful with any information if I haven't done it myself.
