Question Custom radiator fan trigger ?

After full upper grill block, half of lower one and engine belly pan, I've noticed that my radiator fans are running more often and longer than usual. To prevent this I bought on ebay this device http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Zirgo...spagenameZWD1V. Original honda radiator fan switch is preset at 195*F to trigger fans operation. Now I can manually set trigger temp from 180-240*F. What temp should I set to activate my radiator fans to get the best FE ? I set 216*F for now and my civic doesn't overheat.

I wouldn't go over 220. Mine comes on at about 211 to 213.It rarely comes on and I have all kinds of grill blocking.Usually gets to 206 on a warm day.

My "normal" temp is 190 degrees F. My fan comes on automatically at 220 degrees F, which I can hit when I am stuck in traffic. When I use my manual fan radiator switch, I turn it on at 211 degrees F until it falls back down to 190.

I have read that the "danger zone" is temperatures above 250 degrees F, but I'm not an authority.
