Well,I got the bleed off valve put in the Regal.I ended up using a cheap fish tank air valve from Walmart.I've had it lying around for a long time,but I think it only cost about $3.I rigged a vacuum gague to the dipstick tube and can max out at 6" of crankcase vacuum at hiway speed with the inlet sealed. I set the valve to let enough air into the crankcase to maintain 4.5" of vacuum.I'll check the mileage the next time it's my turn to drive to work(3 way carpool)so that everything but the weather will be constant.If the experiment yields no or negative results,I'm only out about $3 and a piece of vacuum hose.
