Civic VX 5 wire alternative - other honda 5-wires

I've got a 95 civic VX and my L1H1 ntk sensor is going on the crapper...Now for a minimum, I can replace it with a new one (or L2H2) for less than $200 online (or $500 at the dealer).

The bosch (planar) sensors look great in price...but the output voltages are out of range to do a direct replacement.

Many of the Newer hondas use 5 wire sensors too....just by extending the leads, they look like they will bolt right up and plug it. And slightly used...there are quite a few out there, and inexpensive.

Has anyone tried this yet? I just got one today and will have this set up by the weekend. Just wondering if there are any pitfalls that I might be missing.

Only go with the same one that is in your VX. Others won't work 100%.

Try some online Honda dealers. Their prices are usually much lower than the dealers locally.

Majestichonda.com is my favorite
