curious to know why he only got 17mpg to start out with...

also, 10MPG boost for adding acetone? Don't think so. Sorry acetone lovers, but I don't think 2oz of acetone are going to make THAT much of a difference.

Perhaps the last leg of his testing was also lots of highway miles...

or he's just making it all up. :P

Yeah, he's full of it. 2 MPG for 5w20 oil? 2 MPG for taking out his spare? Obliviously trying to seem credible to back up his amazing acetone formula.

It's a lie. Acetone makes a difference in some cars, but not like that. I would say about 10% in my car. A 50% just doesn't make sense.

We'll I can believe he double his mileage, he's doing what most are on here. I just think he left out the rest of the story. You could probably double your mileage with the SG, turning the AC off and a tune up and were working to increase FE. If you were getting 17 MPG in a car that should get 25 or better EPA. In the video It shows him grabing the nozzel that dark green, In Texas that diesel. Maybe thats the secret.

All in all pretty hoakie but he got a great commerical voice. I was waiting for him to throw out "but wait there's more".

Ha ha, that's what my wife said. She started adding to the list of mods :

"... then I took my steering wheel off and the weight reduction added another 1 MPG!"

"... then I read on the Internet that some people use spare tire donuts, so I went the next step and started driving on my rims. Suddenly no one would cross the intersection when the sparks flew, so now I can cross at red lights. That gained me another 3 MPG!"

Please add your mods (in commercial voice only)!
