Arrow Provisional Challenge Results

EDIT July 19: I'm back from Vacation -- what a great trip! Well, I guess it's back to work (and FETC too). Thanks again to Lug_Nut for the data double-check. Please note the errors and changes. Summary of changes: when Antoine was added, an incorrect calculation occurred in the spreadsheet. Antoine's final average should be 89.59 mpg and the team average 14.9%. Items in RED show changes. No changes to rankings apply.

Also the spreadsheets are attached (Final Audited Results and Raw Data).

Best of luck in Cycle 3!

Commish

Hey all -

I'm on my way to Alaska for vacation, and this is probably the last spot I'll have Internet for a week or more.

With that, the following is considered "Provisional Results" until double-checked and finalized...

If a correction is required, then it will be made public...

Also, I'm unable to post the spreadsheets with the computer I'm using (funky work-related compression software). Raw data and the results spreadsheet will be posted soon.

Without further delay, the results!

Arrow Cycle 3 Results

Fuel Economy Team Challenge Results, Cycle 3

After running the data, this looks to be a bittersweet competition Cycle. A new team has commanded the lead -- so congrats there!

But there were 3 Penalties imposed -- the most thus far, and with the most impact. While the competition is a fun way to compete, many take this seriously. TCs and all members: make an effort to have a complete team, and fills that meet requirements. The following was noted:

-One team was missing a member,
-the second has a member that didn't report a fill in the Cycle duration, and
-the third had a fill short of 3.00 gallons.

For Cycle 4, let's pull it together and keep the numbers posted and teams filled.

OK [/soapbox]...

Here are the results for Cycle 4:

Keep in mind, the team average of the individual's improvement over their "Percentage over EPA Estimate" is used for master calculations. The new "cumulative" method was used to round-out the average. Click on the car name to go to that vehicle's GasLog...

A team must have 5 members, or suffer a 5% penalty for each missing driver...
If a member does not report a fill, that member cannot be counted, and a 5% penalty is imposed...
Each team member must have fills of 3.00 U.S. Gallons or greater, or incur a 5% penalty...

The following data has not been validated. If an error is noted, it will be updated at a later date...
