I would agree with *************. It may be simpler to find a civic and swamp in a vx engine or drive it as it is, rather than swamp the vx engine+tranny into an accord. I've owned both cars, so if you want to start off with good fe, go with the civic. Power to weight ratio and mpg, civic wins. Accords are awesome, but fe isn't gonna much get better than the civic without trying pretty hard. Just my 0.02.
