I asked this because on Porsche forums, when gas was high, people were switching from premium to regular. They said that ultimately it was more cost effective to run on premium. Porsche's were designed to run on premium. Plus driving habits when driving a Porsche are quite different.

As a side note, my 968 gets surprisingly good gas mileage if driven accordingly. My 951 is decent, as long as you stay out of the turbo.

Currently, I have the most fun driving my VX! There is just something about it that makes it a pleasure to drive. I can't place a finger on it...
