Best Tires For Vx Rims??

Hi,
Wondering what the best tires are for VX rims...I am looking for best gas mileage...also where did you buy them?

Indeed... I'm wondering the same thing. I guess there are several threads on this topic but I didn't find them to be too conclusive. Apparently they're kinda hard to find. I think the Sumitomo HTR T4 are a pretty popular one.

I bought Goodyear Viva 2's from walmart for my vx wheels...they seem to be pretty good lots better than the 17" wheels I had on the car before them...But I have only driven 30 or so miles with the new rims and tires.

It seems Quatrac 2 has the correct VX size of 165/70R13 and is reviewed as a good LRR tire. Not sure about its handling characteristics tho.

Kinda expensive: $214 for four. Each tire weighs 14 pounds.
